Description
This virtual event occurs from Tuesday, September 9 - Thursday, September 11, 2025 each day from 8:30am–430pm at the South Dakota State University’s Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center located at 1601 University Blvd, Brookings, South Dakota 57007.
Using the train-the-trainer model, the Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (T-CHEST) designation sets national standards specifically for environmental services technicians working in health care.
The T-CHEST curriculum is based on seven content domains that were identified as part of a robust and comprehensive national job and task analysis of health care environmental services frontline staff. A substantial amount of content will be covered; we expect that each day of the workshop will take a full 8 hours.
