As part of strategic leadership, this 2-day certification program will help you analyze, evaluate, justify and influence purchasing decisions while keeping key stakeholders in mind. After completing this hands-on program, EVS leaders will drive value for their organizations by impacting clinical and financial outcomes.

  • Review the facility profile to identify opportunities for reinforcement or correction for high-priority organisms
  • Research how pathogen’s characteristics and disinfectant products and technologies influence the evaluation and purchasing decision-making process

Justification & Presentation

  • Identify techniques of being seen as credible and having a “Seat at the table” for decision-making
  • Hold critical conversations and deliver presentations to key stakeholders backed by research checked against rigor and free of bias

Program Info

The interactive 2-day in-person program includes learning sessions, scenarios, videos, games, and group discussions. After completing the program, the learners will achieve a Certificate of Mastery in Product Selection. The learners can receive an additional 4 CECs after completing the final project within 3 months of the in-person event.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • Please send your cancellation request in writing to ahe@aha.org at least 10 days prior to the program start date. Your refund will be subject to a $200 cancellation fee.
  • No refund or credit will be issued for cancellations for inquiries within 10 business days.
  • No credits, substitutions, or transfers will be permitted under any circumstance.
