The Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) program pairs quality education for high-performing health care environmental services professionals with evidence-based training sessions.
With a 99% satisfaction rate, the train-the-trainer program prepares participants to share the CHEST with their staff. It includes essential education needed to perform their duties, including infection prevention, disinfection, communication, safety, waste and linen handling, and floor care.

About CHEST Training
AHA's Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) program offers certification for environmental services frontline workers. It was established using a comprehensive nationwide job analysis of a health care environmental services technician’s responsibilities and defined focus groups.
The program covers all aspects of a frontline worker’s typical tasks and accountabilities.
