The course runs from Monday, June 6 - Sunday, August 14. The deadline to register for this course is Tuesday, June 21.
This ten-week course explores the range of foundational management practices in environmental services. The program is packed with essential content, covering topics such as environmental disinfection, infection control and prevention, staffing requirements and methodology, productivity indicators, effective communication and reporting, customer service excellence, and process improvement.
The facilitator for this course is Michael Rankin. Michael Rankin, CHESP, Market Safety Officer and Emergency Manager for CHI St Luke's Health Memorial in Texas. Michael began his career in Environmental Services after serving in the United States Navy for 9 years. After the military, Michael joined a hospital management company specializing in Environmental Services. He worked in the EVS field for over 18 years before joining CHI St Luke's Health in 2013 as the Market Safety Officer and Emergency Manager. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the Director role, notably at large facilities in multi-hospital health systems.
