C. difficile infections are at a historically high levels and are a major contributor to Health Care Associated Infections (HAI). Yet, it's not always clear how to properly clean for C.Diff and, in fact, some of our cleaning methods may even contribute to the growing number of C.Diff in our facilities. This webinar will examine proper cleaning and disinfection processes for C.Diff and MRSA.

Sarah Simmons
As the Senior Director of Science at Xenex, Sarah is responsible for overseeing the Science department, which assists customers with data analysis and publication, as well as testing and validation of new UV technologies and best practices for implementation of UV disinfection. Sarah has a Masters in Public Health from Texas A&M in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and a Doctorate in Public Health from University of Texas School of public Health in Community Health Practice. She has been Certified in Infection Control for 10 years, and is a Fellow of the Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology. Prior to joining Xenex, Sarah managed the infection prevention program for the critical care service line at a large hospital system in San Antonio, and she has published multiple studies on infection prevention and environmental disinfection.
